Between my new job and Thanksgiving, I'm in mucho pain. My knee is killing me.

Today was good in spite of knee pain. I essentially made today my own. I ran the kitchen. It may not have been my house, but I treated it as such. Between doing laundry (which is in the basement- so up and down stairs all freaking day), cooking not one, but two turkeys (well a turkey and a turkey breast) and getting the house in somewhat decent condition, I am dog tired. But today was all good. Everyone left happy.

The table, before the silverware and other decorations.

We served the food buffet style.

The family. From Left to right- Anthony (who was a great help to me in the kitchen), Mary (my dad's aunt- Anthony's mother), Tony (my uncle- Dad's twin), Dad, Mom, Lil (my aunt- mom's sister), Robin's mother (I forget her name =S), Robin and my brother Brian.

Mom and Brian.

Yeah, that's all I got.

Great pics...I'm an LJ friend of your Mom's...congrats on your culinary expertise! Anyone who undertakes to cook a complete Thanksgiving dinner...or any other dinner, for that matter...is a hero in my eyes! My husband is a wonderful cook so he's the hero in our household! Well done, Amy! Bravo! :o)
Thank you very much. I get to do it all again for Xmas. =)
